Toxicity Source Studies

ETT scientists can track toxicity back to the source with a variety of techniques, including bench scale biological treatment of different trunk lines, and chemical fingerprinting. ETT provides technical data and evidence needed to confirm the toxicant sources and revise pretreatment permits.

Toxicity Reduction

Potential solutions for wastewater toxicity problems are many, including waste minimization/recycling, use of alterative chemicals, operational changes, modification of pretreatment permits, and chemical treatment. Choosing the best solution and verifying the effectiveness of proposed solutions develops at the interface between our scientists and your engineers.
